Minimizing Daily Stress

We live in a world in which constant demands are made on our emotional reserves. This greatly impacts on our physical and mental health.
We must learn to minimize the stress we experience daily to be able to live a fruitful and successful long life. Below are few suggestions in this regard.
  1. Maintain an "In-Charge"Attitude
People who go through live seeing themselves as victims are permanently subjected to stress until they see themselves differently.
Refuse to enjoy pity-parties. Don't make room for failure; don't start thinking about what you will say if you don't meet the deadline while you should be working harder to succeed. Stop seeing other people or something about your past as responsible for your plight. You may not have brought yourself to where you are but you can determine where you will be, so do just that!
Determine to revisit every issue where you have caught yourself thinking you don't have control over the situation. You do. It may not just be the way you think you should.
If you are a victim inside, you will be a victim outside. You see life not as it is but as you see yourself. Internal transformation is your first key to minimizing daily stress.

     2. Invest  In Resource Control

Most of the stress we often go through is because we are into a relationship- whether with our clients, employer, friends etc that constantly make us feel that we are not in control of our most important resources, especially our time.
We must invest in finding a better way of dealing with clients, for example, by proactively giving them the time they have our attention or by trusting and delegating responsibilities to a trained staff with specific time fixed for supervision and/ or report.
We also need to reduce the frequency of emergencies in our lives by giving time to careful planning and prioritizing as well as by loving ourselves enough to politely but firmly say "No" when we are asked to do what we feel very strongly will take us off balance financially or otherwise. Phone ringing are urgent but something else may be important. Put the phone in silence or ignore it while you focus on what is important at the moment.

  3.  Get More Organized

The more organized you are, the less stressful your day will be. Invest in what will help you get more organized. When you have a specific place you put things you often use or you use on daily basis like car key, pen, jewelries, tie, a specific document etc you save time and save yourself of the stress of looking for what is not lost. Being organized helps our memory and an enhanced memory plays a major role in minimizing daily stress

 4.  Live by Your Own Conviction

Please, don't ever let people influence you into doing what you don't believe is the best for the moment. Don't fear crititism, it always comes. Let  it come, therefore, meeting you living out your conviction and not another person's life. This is a major success and life management principle that truly impacts on your daily life. Don't bow to pressure, rather be willing to gain more knowledge- be a good listener, read, learn from other's failures and successes. Be flexible but iive daily by your own conviction; it will help minimize daily stress in the long run.
