Bouncing Back!

Some have never experienced anything that sound like failure in their experiences-- in things that matter to them. This post may not be meaningful to such. But if you are among those who seemed not to have recovered from their last painful experiences, things they wish did not happen, what they seemed not to find a way out of, please read on, you are in the right place!

Failure is not sweet but how do you bounce back from it and even use it to your advantage?

1. Believe that failure is not birthright

You might have experienced failure in the same situation over and over again so much that you have lost confidence in your ability to succeed. It may be in matters of relationship, business or at a particular task or office- do not own or become your experience. You need to TELL YOURSELF you are NOT a failure and believe what you say because it is true.

2. Be willing to acknowledge your limits

It is not a time for pretence. This is not the time to be proud and not want to acknowledge that you are not perfect and you do not know everything even if you are a professor! It is a time to consider where you failed and see if you can learn from it. If you do the same things the same way, you should only expect the same results.Be willing to learn from those who have succeeded. Do not assume they are fraudulent or wicked. They may just happen to have known what you do not know or, at least, they may have a better way of doing what you know how to do.

Also stop pretending it happened because you want it to.No! Do not deceive yourself or others; you do not like the way things are when you fail. Be willing to accept the pain as a pointer for a change.

3.Prime yourself for success

This is especially important for you if you have failed repeatedly or simultaneously in different areas. You need to build your confidence back. Do not wait for anyone, you do it yourself. How? Set smaller goals than you use to, attempt less risky targets. As you do, refuse that feeling that you are not going to succeed. Know you will because you changed. Record every success you make on the way to fulfilling the main goal and celebrate it. For example, if you need to save $1,000, at every saving of $100 you can do something healthy that makes you feel good. In other words, reward yourself until you reach the main goal. You get that? Try it!

4. Lift someone else up!

True success is not just about you. In fact, one great motivation for success is to write the story you want to tell about your success down. See yourself encouraging others in similar circumstances, telling them that if you can succeed, they can.

5. Keep moving

Success becomes failure when it is not reproduced. Do not be so happy about success in one area that you forget to succeed in others. Use the same principle of success in one experience to succeed in another. For example, discipline will help you succeed in relationships like it will in finances.

See you up there again!
